Household hints

  • Uses for baking soda
  1. Keep near the stove for grease fires. 
  2. Sprinkle in bottom of trash cans for odors
  3. Whiten your teeth by mixing a tablespoon of baking soda with a cup of water to brush with , remember to rinse afterward.
  4. Make a paste with baking soda and water , place on stained counter/tub etc, let set for few minutes, then scrub with cloth , this is less expensive and less abrasvise than other cleaners . 
  5. Mix a teaspoon of baking soda with your shampoo in your hand , the baking soda will remove buildup and is less expensive than clarifying shampoo. 
  6. Make a paste of baking soda and small amount of water on burned / stained pots and pans , let set for a few minutes then scrub , shines them like brand new.
